Gatormarketing 101

Gatorade A.M.“Nearly 50% of exercisers aren’t fully hydrated before their workout. For those athletes who exercise in the morning, there’s Gatorade A.M.” – Typical Gatorade Scientist

WOW! This seems like a huge problem. How are we going to get morning exercises properly hydrated so they can excel in athletics?

“Lets add the abbreviation for “morning” to every bottle.” – Gatorade Marketing Guru.

So what is new about Gatorade A.M.? In short, absolutely nothing…

“Gatorade A.M. contains no caffeine and the same scientifically proven formula as Gatorade Thirst Quencher with flavors developed to appeal to you in the morning.”

So they have orange-strawberry and tropical-mango. Those do not “appeal to me in the morning”. Where is the bacon-egg-and-cheese-breakfast-taco flavor? How about biscuits-with-sausage-gravy?

Looks like I might skip out on this fad… I am still waiting for Gatorade P.M. – (now with alcohol) because according to my good buddy Andy Messner, the electrolytes get you drunk faster…

Boycott Dell Event

Boycott DellLooks like another group of motivated people are out to air what they believe to be Dell’s dirty laundry…

Starting Monday April 2nd, a group known as “Boycott Dell” are going to protest at the Round Rock Dell Campus from 8:00 am – 6 p.m.

They are boycotting because they feel that they received poor quality machines and then did not receive resolution to their issues via Dell customer service.

Like Dell or not, they certainly are having “issues” with their customer relations.

Read on for the maniacal press release from Boycott Dell…

How Stuff Works

How Stuff Works There are a few sites that I really enjoy going to every now and again to read up on, well, how stuff works.

One of my all-time favorites is howstuffworks.com. It is informative, easy to use and has so much information one could spend days just absorbing the content.

My favorite area is the Electronics Channel. This area has information ranging from How Batteries Work to How the Xbox 360 Works.

I highly recommend this site to anyone who is interested in getting a basic understanding of a wide range of topics.

What is your favorite place(s) to go online and do a little autodidact learning?
